They are not subwoofers, they are passive radiator woffers.

+Senn Mapa Unfortunately this speaker does not have that feature. The xtreme and pulse and flip 2 do have that option. Just not the charge 2 +.

I got one with my nephews bestbuy employee discount paid $110. Cool speaker just wish it was a tad louder other than that sounds great with my power amp android app.

Hey thanks for this review. I am convinced of the sound qualtiy of this speaker. What I am concerned about is the color: Is it really red? Because on webshops it looks like som vague orange color. Is it really, say, blood-red?

You really shouldn't touch the woofers. They are VERY easily damaged.

how can u connect this with other new jbl products? it dosen't have a "jbl connect" button. because i'm planning to buy this to connect with my jbl xtreme. another question, what do you recommend jbl charge 2 + or jbl pulse 2?
