I was only 21 years and have experienced the refugee migration from the civil war torn East Pakistan. One of my cousins(he is a Bangladesh citizen) joined Mukti Bahini was caught by Pak forces tortured and taken to the bank of nearby Meghna river in Barishal. His feet and hands tied to his back, bricks tied to his hands, bayoneted and threw into the river. But to everyone's surprise he survived. It was narrated by him during his visit to india in 1976
