Op Amps: Simple Frequency Tailoring

Sometimes there is a need to alter the frequency response of an op amp circuit modestly, that is, without going through the work and expense of a full-blown filter. Simple reductions of F2 along with reductions in low frequency gain often can be achieved through the addition of a capacitor (or two) in the feedback network. In this video, we examine the process using non-inverting amplifiers, although the process is easily extended to inverting amplifiers.

Excellent. Do we need to be concerned about the DC Ground when we put the Cap in series with Ri?
