Divide Polar Form Complex Numbers
Показать описание
To divide, divide the magnitudes and subtract one angle from the other.
When two complex numbers are given in polar form it is particularly simple to multiply and divide them. This is an advantage of using the polar form. Note that to multiply the two numbers we multiply their moduli and add their arguments. To divide, we divide their moduli and subtract their arguments.
What you'll need:
Quotients: (r∠θ)/(r^′∠θ^′ )=r/r′∠(θ−θ^′ )
Q1. Divide (6∠70°) by (2∠50°).
Q2. Divide the vector (8∠44°) by (4∠12°).
