Great job explaining this. I’m getting the 106sv and the ECHOMAP UHD2 93sv 9 with the GT 56 . What unit has a higher resolution and can I run both on the GT 56 wireless? Also would you put the 10 inch on the console or the 9 inch .? The other would be bow mounted.

Thinking about putting the ECHOMAP Ultra 10 on my kayak and I wonder what you think. I never fish in water over 40 feet deep and am really looking for a big touch screen display that invludes side scan. Thoughts?

I have Solix G2 graphs and a Garmin EcoMap 106sv and LiveScope LVS 34. I’d like to go all Garmin but have their transducers caught up with Humminbird Mega for sonar, side and down imaging?

Do the units have better screen resolutions themselves as in the echo map 106 resolution is leaps and bounds above the 93 uhd1, not interested in the transducers

Here’s hoping you can answer a question or two. I now have a Cobia dual console and there is no room on the dash for a 94 so I’m stuck with the 74. I JUST bought the 74sv UHD2 but it’s bundled with a GT54 transducer and it always is. You can however get a 94sv UHD2 with either the GT54 or GT56 transducer as a bundle.
Is there a reason the GT56 is not bundled with the smaller 74sv AND should I take it back and pay the premium to buy the GT56 and the 74sv separately? Boy I hope that makes sense.

With the new Wifi capability on the gen2 can you have a graph on the bow hooked up to livescope share the livescope image to the console via wifi connection? Or do you have to network them all together still to do this?

The 106 on sale with the gt54 is/was $999. If I understand right, the “new” 106 for $2200 has a gt56, wireless way points, new user interface, better maps, unclear if different processor? Making sure I understand. Thanks

Quick question. Did they change out the processor? They're going from 10 year old resolution to 10 year old resolution. It'd be nice if they would update the processors and make it more responsive.
