Really neat idea for a fighter! It's going to be interesting to see how the interactions with Patroclus play out between the player and the opponent. Each of the fighters in this set seem so wildly unique and thematic. Great video LotB!

Literally got this amazing set two days ago and I must say, BOL VOL 2 is my favourite set to date. I Love all of these Characters, especially Bloody Mary. It's amazing how this system just seems to be getting better with every edition. My hats off to Restoration, Mondo and the Unmatched community for creating, designing and playtesting such a great set. Every Character is so perfectly tuned against every other character yet each one plays so differently, with a different tempo unlike any other character thats come before. I am in awe. I played and loved Achilles's Deck. Killing Patroclus seems to be down to timing, and each opponent requires a different strategy to do well. This was a great video LOTB, love your content, but BOY! is this a simply amazing game.

Ps. People say Unmatched is a lightweight Skirmish Game, but for my game group we play this like chess. After you learn each character, you are definitely playing the person (their bluff, their strategy, their character, their card draw, their placement) and vice versa. This is Medium heavy game for us, each decision needing careful thought and set up. Lol or maybe we just play different.

Big thanks for mentioning their relationship because #representationmatters when they announced Achilles with Patroclus it immediately got me to look at Unmatched for the first time and now own 2 boxes. And after seeing this deck, I am still pumped for him!

Btw with his heel, that will be a perfect defense to double attack cards since you'll know if the 4 wins the combat or not.

Can't wait for the strategy video after you get some time to test him out!

Super excited! Thanks for Sharing! I am so curious to see how it'll go with Patroclus! I feel like I would want to kinda ignore him as an opponent, but then he has some powerful effects. I think if I can choose when to kill him as the opponent, I can hopefully hit Achilles when he is down (after 2 random discards)

Looking forward to many more of the Overview & Strategy guides. I just got BOL2 and have only played Mary (twice) so far. The decks are all very interesting, and while C&F and Ingen are my favorite sets, I can see this one bumping C&F, because of the interesting modes of play.
