Russians honor victims of deadly Dnipro missile strike with flowers and toys
Показать описание
Russians laid flowers at a makeshift memorial to the victims of Saturday’s deadly missile strike on a nine-storey Ukrainian residential building.
On Friday evening, flowers and toys were arranged around the base of a monument to Ukrainian national poet Taras Shevchenko in central St Petersburg.
Ukraine believes the strike, killing 44, was caused by a Russian Kh-22 missile, a statement denied by Russia, who claimed that it’s caused by Ukraine’s air defense, citing the remarks of Zelensky advisor Arestovych who later resigned for the backlash of his remarks.
Meanwhile, the Kremlin refused to say whether Russia was preparing for strikes on Kyiv after images of missile defenses on several Moscow rooftops circulated online.
