Klee's father is mentioned so little that I've seen people say that he's actually dead. There was a time that I did believe that because Hoyo just looovesss single parents for playable characters, so I just assumed Alice told Klee she's taking her dad with her on an adventure when in truth is that he died. Like how parents tell their kids their pet ran away instead of their pet dying bc it hurts less that way

Watch Hoyo pull a classic Hoyo move, and reveal that Klee is actually the sole surving clone of Alice, made by Celestia or the Abyss. But was found and adopted by Alice who's been fabricating everything to hide Klee from the truth.

At this point my prevalent theory is that the main reason we don't know shit about Klee's dad is because Hoyoverse is just trying to retcon him out of existence so they can release Alice and maintain the waifu appeal as much as possible because we can't have nice things

Imagine the father being Dainsleif. Jokes A-side Klee's father is a special case cause he HAS to be Alice's lover and if she becomes playable it creates sinping problems if it's a canon relationship. We've never had a character who had given birth being playable. Not in Genshin at least. Chances are we might not even find out about him even when Alice becomes playable.
