I contacted MT to find out if they can supply either 7-bladed or 11-bladed propellers for the PA-31T and only the 5-bladed props are for sale.

I thought this was going to be a joke video. That is a lot of blades! How much drag did it add? It seems like the pilot is having to adjust strongly for adverse yaw.

Damn that thing is quiet. Hate to see the price tag and later overhaul fee is on that thing but would love to see it on an Air Tractor PT-8... Plenty of pick points for your fork truck in a hot section inspection. The efficiency and noise reduction plus potential fuel saving is probably worth it. That 802 would look pretty sick with this bad boy on it. Probably just stand it on ass end empty and fly it around like a helicopter 🚁 🤣 with all the power that joker puts out, maybe even with it full of weed burner!
Be interesting to see how this develops.
