For those who are confused about the unit of the final answer,

The question stated that theres a random wall and didn't give any dimensions for it. It was just asking for the heat loss through ANY unit area through that wall. At the beginning of the solution, he took 1 m2 of the wall and did his calculations respective to that. Indeed, the final answer is total rate of heat transfer. However, he was considering 1 m2 of the house's wall and so the /m2 is refers to a unit area of the HOUSE'S wall, it doesn't come from the calculations, it's just there because he took 1 m2 of the wall as the specimen.

If the question were "What is the heat rate through 1 m2 of the wall", everything would be the same except he wouldn't have put a /m2

If the ques mention to calculate heat flux, shouldn't we exclude out the area inside calculation ? q" = (Ti-To) / (1/hi + L1/k1 +L2/k2 + L3/k3 + L4/k4 + 1/ho)

The unit of final answer is confusing. Shouldn't be the unit in watt? according to the equation he is using delT=Power * Rth. Please correct me if I am wrong
