Match Highlights: Canada WNT 0-3 Japan

In the first to two friendlies between the two nations, Japan beat Canada 3-0 at Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton.

Japanese did regular quality not much striving actions. They just using as their ordinary team work but they maintain their fast paces and attack from ever counter. Our Canada team did a good job too but need to  be finished perfectly. About first Goal, all Canadian defenders are very close and leave Japanese striker seriously unmarked. The third goal should have been denied if the goal keeper willing to do it. It shows weakness in mentally after giving two goals. Canada has to work out and need more mentally build up. Anyway, we are still on to chant our Canada team in BC Place and make more noise and encourage our team. I hope John H. fixes all things quick for Vancouver game and ahead of World Cup 2015. We all believe in you, team .. Let's go Canada let's go ...

I see they have slipped below England in the rankings after losing to them 2-0.. In the Olympics Canada handled England rather easily .. are they taking backward steps? I don't know. The way they left those players undefended looked very poor.

Canada really needed to develop their football, or soccer in US meaning. Their women's team might be good but their men's team... oh Lord... do you think you really need Claudio Bravo, Mauricio Isla, Charles Aranguiz, Eduardo Vargas, Alexis Sanchez?

I'm glad the WWC is in the summer. the players looked stiff, don't know if that was a matter of fitness or temperature or both

very bad defending from a great team on the 1rst and last japanese goal...but Canada deserved a goal at least
