Hello, I've been quite interested on learning history but I don't know where to start and I know exactly I can't learn anything from my teachers. So, I decided to learn it myself. Where should I start? Any recommended books and movies etc. Where should I go to learn about it? I'm really starting from the beginning cause I cannot remember anything they've taught in school. Thank you, very much appreciated.

Locomotion No. 1 was an early steam locomotive built by the pioneering railway engineers George Stephenson(dubbed "father of the railways") and his son Robert Stephenson at their 8 acre Manufacturing Firm, (The company was set up in 1823 in Forth Street, Newcastle-upon-Tyne in England by George Stephenson and named "Robert Stephenson and Company"). It became the first steam locomotive to haul a passenger carrying train on a public railway, the Stockton and Darlington Railway... George and his son Robert were the only people in the country building locomotives! they were incredibly good at it too as other countries like France America and Egypt all brought locomotives from the company... I suppose this is free learning.. they aren't going to give you the whole facts are they.. although the information i have given is free to anyone who wants to look for it. Terrible im glad i didn't enrol

Also might i add... obviously we know how we know things that have been documented! For goodness sakes! How do you know everything began from the big bang... or how do we really know for sure if all the continents were merged as one or how do we know that The Great Oxygenation Event, which occurred around 2.45 billion years ago actually happened and that it actually happened when we claim it did? Teach us SOMETHING
