I’ve been in both positions before. This is scary when someone is slamming on your doors and yelling to be let in. It’s also hurtful when a loved one disappears, but I never acted like Angela. I have PTSD and wouldn’t go around knocking and disrespecting another persons house because they wouldn’t answer the door. I’ve cowered in rooms and wardrobes for hours before when this has happened to me repeatedly (ex friends, abusive boyfriends, family.). It caused me so much anxiety I moved 4 hours away from my home town and told nobody I was doing it. But even when the post man or Uber eats driver knocks I still have a panic attack. PTSD sucks.
