I have to say I broke in to a big old smile when you said "I have the airplane." Good to see you back at the controls.

There are currently 15 LOCKHEED 12As on the FAA Registry and all are airworthy. And 2 10As.

Any person: "I've done more cool stuff the last couple of weeks than anyone".
Juan: "Hold my beer".

WHOA! Oh my goodness, what a thrill that must have been for the three of you. Juan, you are a very fortunate man.

Thanks for sharing and, taking us along with you on that fantastic ol' Bird. What a pleasure it must have been to have the controls for a short period of time.

Absolute music to the ears!!! Few aircraft on earth sound as good as this seventy something year old Lockheed! Thank you Blancolirio for this experience!!!

Remember that old aircraft designers adage? If it looks right it'll probably fly right.

Just look at that old lady. What an absolutely graceful and beautiful old machine. The reflection in her panels, those beautifully polished prop blades and I bet that hum and vibration as you were flying her almost brought it to life.

Great to see you at the tiller Juan, also loved seeing that pumping engine at the end too.

Outstanding !! What a beautiful airplane. At the end when you were filming the pump horse I was 1/2 way expecting you to climb up there and ride that thing. When I was a teenager in the early 60's here in East Texas, for lack of something to do, we would drive out in the oil fields and ride those things at night. Pretty scary the first time but loads of fun. Heck, even our dates would get on one. I don't have any proof but I think this is where the "mechanical bull" idea came from. Just saying.

Three of my FAVORITES in the whole world: a beautiful aircraft, a pump jack, and Capt. Browne. THANK YOU!

What a BEAUTY that 12A is!! WOW!! Gorgeous. I can only imagine how she flies. Great to see you haven't forgotten how! 😜

That hit-N-miss engine powering that oil pumper was fantastic!! I had no idea any industry still used those. I usually see them at the local fairs every fall - I always make a point to watch them for a while, and marvel at the engineering of the day. Back in the days when EVERYTHING was built better. Customer satisfaction took high president over the dollar, and America was strong! Thanks for sharing that! That made a fantastic video even better!

To requote Crocodile Dundee 'Now That's an aeroplane!'
There was a beautifully restored Lockeed 10 flying in Australia a few years ago. Mebe it still is.

I wish I could've made it the 20 miles over to see you all and the fabulous planes, but responsibilities kept me home. I hope you all enjoyed your time! CONGRATULATIONS on your award!

Loved the video Juan. How cool to see you flying again and in a vintage plane no less. Thanks for sharing.

What a beautiful plane. I have several hundred hours in a Beech 18, which is a very similar airplane powered by the R985 AN 14B. Love the lumpy sound of those radials.

Man that 12A is a really good looking plane. :) The bare aluminium and the red is such a good combo.

Thanks for showing us a beautiful airplane. The hit and miss engine on the pump Jack was really cool too.
