I’m black I’m conservative and most time I don’t see things as racism but Boston is the one time I can truly say I experience racism in my life and I been all over the country

I wish this conversation went deeper. It was an echo of countless other conversations previously had about the immigrant and non-white experience in the U.S. However, I think this video is interesting because it mentioned Boston’s veiled, passive aggressive racism and another YouTuber I watch mentioned some time ago that she experienced that in Boston.

People are so rude in the comments. Look just because you never had any issue with race does not mean you will invalidate other's experiences

Go to literally any country in the world and you will experience racism if you are a minority. Its not just Boston lol

I see our sister gorgeously and fashionably representing the motherland😍🫶🏾🤎. Much respect to both your journeys and upholding your essence.

I looked up racism in Massachusetts bc I recently moved here, and honestly I didn’t expect the passive aggressive behavior. Like Boston is such a big city with plenty of immigrants, but you could feel the little uncomfortably of some non poc folks when you approach or talk to them. Even Doctor made me and my mom feel this way. And I think that’s why they didn’t take time to give her proper care, she could have die smh.

Massachusetts is pretty diverse. If you’re experiencing racism it’s probably by another minority.

It's ok to be white and want to live among your own.

When the pastor at church keeps asking, “what is your name, ” because it’s American and doesn’t fit their narrative 🙄

How about sharing experiences with how hospitable most people in America actually are. Oh wait, that goes against the divide and conquer narrative we need right MSM?

I experience racism, but guess what more people are being hospitable.

MASS is a small state. But, Boston is a famous city. Yes, Boston does have people who are racists. But, Boston also has many nice people too.
Just like other big cities: NYC, D.C., Philadelphia, Miami, Orlando, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seatle, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, ect...
Boston is a diverse city. Harvard and MIT are two famous universities in Cambridge, Mass. Racism is still happen in many cities, not just Boston.

My friend is an immigrant and a lawyer. She purchased an expensive house and people would ask her stupid questions like “ how she can afford mortgage, if she was a housekeeper etc”.
You gotta be ignorant to ask these type of questions. Is common sense NOT to ask.
Her kids would suffer at school so she moved.

Massachusetts, Idaho, New Mexico there's always racists everywhere so not surprised about their experiences. Massachusetts is a nice state regardless

She says, "How can we create an African community in this larger white community?" What if a white American moved to Ghana, and said, "How can we create an American community in a larger black community?" Get my point?

Why do the presenters have to be the same race and gender as their interviewees? 🤔

As a minority, racism is on the very bottom of the list or non existent when choosing a criteria for a city/state. Boston Mass is one of the best ranked cities/state in almost every major category but reporters and news outlets like this one chooses to completely disregard this considerably basic fact. I would expect things like crime, education, healthcare, economy, etc. would be more important rather than trying to push this narrative onto young people but what do i know.
