Steve and Carol Risting are the duo behind the architecture and design studio, atelierRISTING, and their northeastern Iowa off-grid home, the GLASS CABIN. Floating above the Iowa prairie and made of existing and recycled materials, including reused glass from an old Indiana office building, the Risting's has sustainability in mind when building this off-grid home. The couple wanted all the comforts of home in their gorgeous glass getaway, and making the switch to Battle Born's lithium-ion batteries made that all possible and was just another detail that contributed to their efforts of sustainability.

The GLASS CABIN is powered by solar on their sloped roof and Battle Born's 12V 270Ah GC3 Gamechanger lithium-ion batteries.

How much does a project like that cost and how long did it take you to build it?
