Savage seas beat the Old Slag Banks

A stormy start to the New Year. No one knows what would happen to this area of the Town of Workington in Cumbria, if the Steel Works in the Town had not deposited there waste or "slag" here in the past. Only a waste product from Industry, but has you can see a vital part of the areas sea defenses.
