thanks man, i have been having problems with my magic pro with disconnetions or just not connecting at all, then it would then it wouldn't. i was convicted it was down to firmware but not update where available never considered it to be the usb connector, after watching your video i did a quick switch with my android connecter cable and it fixed the problem. cheep easy fix!!! well happy.

Dude... you are saying great stuff in all of your videos but mabe it would help to write out a bullet point list of the things you want to say before hand and then hit them fairly clearly but concise.. It will really keep peoples attention I think you have about mabe 2-3 min of actual info in this 11 min video. And if speaking poignantly is not your strong suit, we all know you are a tech wiz... edit them. Def not hating love the content just think you could polish it up a little for us fans. My mavic gets disconnected just when it flies 7 mtr height, and when I bring it near 3 to 4 mtr it again gets connected . Can you suggest what could be the problem or could you send some videos to solve those problems.

my controller disconnected. Now it will not connect to mavic pro or dji 4 app. Controller does not stay on for longer to 3 seconds. My mavic pro is only 3 day old. Any help would be wonderful

I've only had my Mavic for a few days now, and I've had several controller disconnects. They have only occurred when I've been standing next to something heavily metallic or within 100 ft of a power junction box. I think this little firewire they provide is poorly twisted and mostly unshielded. In my own case, I'll bet a decently shielded USB cable will do the trick, running it from the rear port. If you've had that problem occur, take a minute to remember exactly where you were holding the remote when it happened. If you (not the drone) were standing near a major power source, or a lot of metal, that'd be my first box to check.

I used the USB port instead of the mini port on the side of the controller. Works perfect now! I use a Samsung Galaxy S7

I just bought a magic and I'm having constant disconnects. I'm running latest firmware. I have a 7 day replacement from the store and I want to make sure I don't have a defective magic before my 7 days expires. any suggestions? the store told me to rebind the controller to the magic but it didn't help. I live in the Philippines. steve

for my Mavic Pro Platinum the "gimbal disconnect" message appeard suddenly out of the blue. TLDR:( put a new SD card in or format your old one) and the only solution was to take out the SD card, try turning it on without an SD card, and then it was working normal. So I formatted the SD Card, put it back in, and then it worked again like a charmer.
