Join Kathleen as she talks about her journey, how she sold everything she owned to bike across the country, and began living a life of intention - a life on purpose. She talks about how at the core, all people desire freedom, and in order to start actively participating in the creation of our lives, it starts with bite-sized actions - small steps. She will talk about how to breathe freedom into your life and stop settling for less, how to stop letting life happen to you, and instead, be the active creator of your life and circumstances.

Making a move in 2012 that would terrify even the bravest of nonconformists, Kathleen quit her high-pressure sales job in the city, sold everything and set out to ride her bike across the United States. After 2 years of perpetual travel, she found her calling as a life and business coach helping other women who want an intentional life they love bring their visions to fruition. She lives in Sedona, Arizona with her husband and pets.

Very nice talk involving INTENTION, and acting on it. Acting with purpose. Living with purpose. Planning with purpose...Very powerful concepts, I have found again and again that those who protest these ideas are those who are the most afraid to remove themselves from their current situation. Not everyone can just do what she did (may have kids, debt, other things) but that's not the point she was making. Listen to the second half again.
I exist because my Makers decided to build a robot. It's not as hard or expensive as you might think. They just took the time and effort and put me together. And someday, they hope that I might actually be able to write something like this myself...interesting times we are living in- so much we can do once we are able to free our minds (and remember that we must repeatedly do that) be well.

I feel like one reason why I live intentionally and why intentionally living happened so naturally for me is because I hate ppl telling me what to do and I need to feel free lol

I like this talk, it’s a message I’ve learned myself too and may others who change thrift lives or do things that people see as unreachable. Yes, no matter the situation, people in a right state of mind can change their lives drastically by taking control of what they can. But is she going to acknowledge the fact a lot of people have many other weights upon them like children, debt, dependent family members, mental illness?? I do question her slightly condescending perspective of people who “settle, ” too.

Seriously! Talk about First World Problems! This is damn right sad and not in the least "inspiring". Lessons learnt from this video: start off by buying something (bikes, organic food and spices). Then - quit your job, get a fancy house (?!?!) WTF.
