Another thing to note: We're used to seeing our own faces in the mirror, so when it's flipped, the asymmetry becomes twice as bad to us as other people see it. Don't fret over it!

I hate when people claim to not notice something obvious on someone at an attempt to make them feel better, but i've followed marzia for around 5 years and legitimately never noticed. Also i can't believe inside edition managed to leech an entire news piece off of "pewdiepie's wife's" face

Asymmetry is the reason we prefer the way we look in a mirror compared to a photo. We get used to one side of asymmetry and when it flips our brain kinda freaks out as if something happened to our face.

This is wild to me because I’ve always thought Marzia was so incredibly beautiful. Like so so jealous of her!

I used to be extremely insecure about my asymmetrical jaw and thought I couldn't be pretty because of it but then I noticed Marzia's asymmetry and it really made me feel better because if she can be so beautiful with it then so can I.

Since the moment I knew about Marzia's existence, I was flabbergasted by how gorgeous she is and became kinda jealous. I've never realized that she has an asymmetrical face, I just saw her face as ''omg WHY is she so stunning''.

I'm glad she is starting to embrace her beauty more instead of fixating on the ''less perfect'' points. <3

Not all symmetrical faces are attractive and not all assymetrical faces are unattractive. Harmony makes beauty

I appreciate that you didn't use the term "PewDiePie's wife" in the title to talk about Marzia, she's really earned her own popularity and fan base :) nice video!

As an artist, I can confirm that assymetry is beautiful and a normality. If you try drawing a perfectly symmetrical face it comes out as unnatural, weird and uncanny even

It’s very comforting when you struggle with facial asymmetry….and a professional in the field says “it’s NORMAL! And more attractive to the brain!”
This is what the young girls of this generation need to hear, before they all deform their faces trying to be “PERFECT” by societies standards

Marzia is drop dead gorgeous. Her asymmetrical facial features are unique and it makes her special because she's not you vogue type beautiful face out there.

I really appreciate how as a facial plastic surgeon you are actually promoting body positivity and self acceptance of ones self rather than doing what so many other surgeons do, pick out imperfections to fix. I have been so self conscious about my nose, side profile. after a the cartilage at the tip was damaged during a karate tournament. As I live in the UK the NHS won't repair it as it's considered cosmetic. For me it both, as I can't breath out my right nostril due to a deviated septum, which the ENT consultant did offer to fix, but not my tip. This video has definitely helped me re think my nose. I am what I am. I would love my old nose back but it's not as bad I think it is. Us humans project way too much negativity onto ourselves. Thanks again for a great video. Love your content. Also think you are beautiful 😁

Ever since I first saw Marzia, I noticed her asymmetry. Having said that, she’s still so so so beautiful.

The best medicine to help with asymmetric face is to accept it and embrace it 😌

This has to be the best surgeon I’ve came across. You know how they always come off as “better than everyone else”? I love the down to earth and humbleness of this human. Thank you!

As a girl w an extremely unsymmetrical face which I was extremely self conscious about, I always considered Marzia one of the most beautiful people I have ever seen! She’s genuinely so pretty, comes to show that our insecurities are in our head

I've watched a lot of your videos now, and you always come off as empathic and non judgemental. Those traits are depicted fairly rarely online... Love your channel, thanks for making videos.

I've always been insecure. So, even though I don't have TikTok, the symmetrical face trend still came under my radar. That trend was a huge blow to my confidence. Ouch. The sad thing is, I know that most beauty standards are stupid but I just can't help myself. Videos like this sort of help me feel better about myself so I appreciate you for making it.

This is a great video. Influencers on social media usually portray their face as perfectly symmetrical so it’s always made me quite insecure. Having people like Mariza present on such platforms is really important and really helps. I loved hearing your thoughts on this. Loved it !

I can't see the asymmetry that Marzia is describing. By how much it bothered her it sounds more like body dysmorphic disorder than anything else.
