Anyone reading this who only plays on consol. I recommend getting this exact same one but with the 144hz refresh rate. Save you some money. Otherwise, this has been one of my best gaming purchases I've ever made. I haven't had any regrets on the purchase. I've had no issues with it that weren't user error. I've had it for over a year now. Still learning new stuff. I'm a pc noob. So it's blowing my mind knowing my pc and Monitor has been capable of so much more this entire time.

Picked one off these up because I wanted to go back to max smooth frame rates.

You can make the HDR perform exceptionality well, but it takes some tweaking.

1) Update the monitor drivers
2) Download windows HDR calibrating tool and calibrate it
3) Ensure the windows auto hdr slider (that does SDR at the same time) is set to about 80
4) Tweak the NVidia brightness, contrast, gamma and vibrancy to your liking

Once you've done all this, it should look just as bright and vibrant as SDR, but now in HDR.

My review:

Great monitor, just understand that you are getting 1080p.

PS, the monitor also has speakers too (which isn't well advertised), but they aren't too good. Usable, but you'll probably want to pick up a soundbar when not using headphones.
