Weve been using the same tree (cheap version) since I was in highschool 10 years ago! You could tell its really old but we dont want to let it go. We also had one before that for 12 years. ❤️

I'm so lucky that the landlord (house owner of the three homes) keeps his pine trees in shape and beautifully every year. Although NOT my house my neighbors and my friend and me - we decorate our trees early December. 🤶🎅 #DecorateARealChristmasTree def don't throw away your real pine trees give 'em proper care. I spent years on the artificial Christmas tree band wagon, but I'm now beginning to second guess that due to the amount of Co2 that goes into making just one tree and I can only imagine the amount of waste produced in the making and the owning of these trees! After the holiday season when it's time to take down and repack it for storage and after my cat, dog, little nephew & niece have had their fun with the tree, I'm left sweeping a lot of plastic "needles" into the recycling bin, thus I think I'm going to stop having a tree altogether!!
