This looks pretty cool! As you mentioned at the end, you do need to know what you're doing and here you're filling in strategies that you already know quite well. I'd be curious to see if you could learn something new with GPT, maybe coming up with a reversal strategy as a trend follower? Thanks for showing off how useful this can be :)

If you feed the script / error back to the model and include a sentence like ' <corrective action here> allows this code to compile', *- i know it sound dorky, but trust me on this next bit -* <insert moderate praise here, ie; that's pretty good, you were very close, remember to work through your code step by step>, now let's try to generate this code again '.... your second + shot results will be much better on average and unlikely to repeat the error, temperature should also be set low if possible to reduce random creativeness...

How would I impliment making 5 of the same indicator into one indicator with the ability to make different settings for each?

Easy fix for when you have an error within Pine Script. Copy the full error paste into chatgpt, ask it to fix the error and rewrite the code in it’s entirety

When I showed the reported errors in the script to ChatGPT it went through iterations and was able to fix most problems

The last strategy: open long when 5 consecutive above sma ok. Close long when price below trailing stop -10% would be better.

the real problem here, even if you're pro and a bad trader knowing pine doesn't helps, and if you're not a coder and not a trader, how the results can be any good, and also you need to understand that ChatGPT and similar systems learning from available materials but 99.99% is a garbage, coming from people who achieve nothing just selling courses or monetize finance category making money from YT ads. After ChatGPT has learned from all this fake gurus, it spit out similar garbage.

Wouldn't it be more efficient if you could simply tell Chat GPT to create a trading system with a list of stocks (as input) that was successful in this in-sample period (as input) and meets and exceeds these minimum key metrics (as input)?
