A Stetson University student was arrested after authorities said he made threatening comments on social media alluding to setting off explosives at the White House.

I am a Gen X'er and I can recall as far back as 7th Grade (1980). There was an annual school trip to DC to get a history and civics lesson. I remember in class in California before the trip began, Mr. Thomas the history teacher who led the annual trip very sternly saying: "Don't even think about making any snide remarks when we tour the major landmarks and esp. the White House. You will be severely punished and the FBI will put you in cuffs." No social media back then but his words/warning still ring true.
