I may have been tired and a bit hungover when I went to see this in London in February, but I was in tears like 80% of the time.. And like proper shoulders shaking and nose running type of crying. The story, the actors, the songs, the lyrics... everything is designed to grab your heart and squeeze to tightly. Jumped straight to the podium among the 70+ musicals I've seen in my life and it will take something extraordinary to replace it.. Might be a close shared top position with Dear Evan Hansen, but this is happier... :D
