I wanted to redeem myself for how much I dislike my Mewtwo vs Shadow track, but part of that required me to simplify the Pokemon melodies down a lot, they're not one of my strong suits.

Hello, everyone! My name is VampyreNVRmore, and I am the commissioner for this track. This is my 10th track that I commissioned from Brandon Yates, and he knocked it out of the park once again. You could say that he’s a champion at it. This track is freaking awesome, and I hope you guys enjoy it as well.

Sephiroth is my most preferred opponent for a Mewtwo runback, so I hope it becomes an official episode of Death Battle. A battle between genetically-engineered god-like beings. A villain who became a protector versus a war hero who became a monster. Doesn’t that sound cool. Anyway, enjoy the track!

*Sephiroth unleashes Supernova but Mewtwo looks more annoyed than worried. As the expanding surface of the sun draws closer, Mewtwo simply teleports away and escapes the pocket dimension. Sephiroth senses this and smirks.*

Sephiroth: Hm. You’re more intelligent than you appear.

Mewtwo: I am far beyond what you can comprehend.

*Mewtwo’s eyes flash and Sephiroth’s arrogance crumbles as he feels unusually weaker. Mewtwo had used power swap and guard swap to steal Sephiroth’s strength and durability advantages.*

Mewtwo: I looked deep within your mind. I understood what you were capable of from the beginning. Such overwhelming power held by such twisted delusions… In a battle of might, I never had a chance… But in wits and skill? You were a speak of dust caught in a hurricane. I shall put you out of your misery.

*Mewtwo uses his psychic powers to completely obliterate Sephiroth’s mind. The one winged angel’s body goes limp as it falls to the ground, devoid of thought and life.*
