Even 10 years ago, you still explain best. I was trying to refresh my memory on route summ and you rock, Keith! I'm so grateful to have great resource like you! Keep up the great work. Finally I'll be taking CCNA exam tomorrow(Thanks to you). No matter what outcome is, I'll keep trying like you said. Thank you, Keith.

You are a god, its been 12 years since this video has been uploaded and I have already spent like an hour or so today for a crisp explanation on summarization and been through fairly recently uploaded videos on several channels but this one is the best .
You are actually OG of I.T.

by far, best route summarization video i've seen on youtube. most of them do not show entering the calculated summarize network route in actual router. This clearly show what router will react when it has new route. super clear.

, kindly expressing my thankfulness for such a detailed video. I understood how to calculate the best route. Now it's possibly to increase productivity of network equipment. Also I figured out that this method is suitable for each routing protocol. Going to practice more. Bits clearly show how to cut to get the desired!

Route summarization is such a cool topic. It is basically using subnetting. Did my CCNA ten years ago and this was great refresh my knowledge

I can't tell you how many video I've watched and articles I've read on supernetting trying to understand it for my ICND1 exam. Breaking it down into binary helps so much. Thank you!!

I see your point about the information already being out there on Wendell's site. Just wanted to say thanks for all the awesome videos that you've made on the subject. Because of people like you, Wendell and Jeremy it made getting my CCNA much easier! Looking forward to starting on Route soon! See ya around CLN.

Thanks again!

Hi Major-

Thanks for the Post. Wendell is one of my favorite authors, and I certainly understand why you enjoy the methods he teaches. He has that method posted at the ccnaskillsDOTcom site for everyone to use, so I don't know that a video would be required using his exact method.

Thanks for the post,

Keith Barker

The block size for a /27 is 32.

First subnet would be 23.1.2.0/27 and the next one would be 23.1.2.32/27
