Dallas had a lot of potential. Too bad that he passed away before he could realize it all. He would have been amazing no doubt.

It's tough to bet against the King but I believe if McCarver was still alive he would've probably surpassed him. Insane weight and control at such a young age.

Dallas is still remembered for his selfless contribution to the total development of often marginalized children. Dallas is an inspiration to so many, on so many levels. Dallas truly felt an obligation to children who did NOT have the childhood Dallas had. His Mother is an extraordinary Women to bless us with the gift to this world, her son's legacy .

I had no idea it would be that close. Dallas was an absolute monster.

I heard Nick Walker used 120kg dumbbells for bench pressing; it'd be interesting to see you do a breakdown or comparison with him!

Great video as always sir!

Thanks for this one Strength Universe. Dallas is definitely in the algorithm alongwith Ronnie, Franco, Stan, Johnny, Markus and Kevin. Would have been Mr. O by now. Rest in peace Big Country...

The guy did a good job on presenting this video and I would like to add Ronnie did some of those lifts mentioned while only weeks out from a show. (Not mentioned in video) Yes some of Ronnie’s were in off-season too but I believe ALL of Dallas’s were in off-season. Being near contest and off season huge difference I’m sure you know. Yes he had wraps and suit but Ronnie stated publicly he could of done 4-5 reps with 800 on squat and I believe him. He said he was set on 2 before he started the set so he stopped, but said it was light. He never said that about the 800x2 deadlift which he could of to inflate that. Ronnie was super strong overall at pretty much every gym lift. So while this comparison may have shown how strong Dallas was which he definitely was and that Ronnie lost this head or head but I’m still waiting for someone to come along and wow me like Coleman did back in the day. To be SUPER SUPER STRONG overall in everything. Yes we have insane powerlifting records for specific lifts today that surpass Ronnie FOR SURE but overall super strong at every gym lift while focusing on bodybuilding only I haven’t seen anyone else match him. We will never know what he could of done in powerlifting if he took break from bodybuilding to pursue it for few years.

RIP Dallas, he was a great human being beyond all. And if he was still here today, he for sure would have surpassed Ronnie in terms of strength. He was tall and filled out his frame at such a young age, was super strong and pleasing to look at too. He is missed by all

Please do Kevin Levrone vs Dorian!? Both competed against each other for around 6 years, both trained hard and you can find footage of Kevin do a 500lb bench!

It’s safe to say they were both amazingly strong. Interesting comparison video!

Im a big fan of your Strenght Universe, I will see this clip (as usual) after this comment. Try to find the stats of Ricky Bruch, total madman from Sweden who was pretty strong. I think you will find him interessting, alot of clips on youtube etc, and a documentary was made once.

I believe Dallas was slightly stronger because of the control and range of motion he was using over the weights.

Ronnie Coleman was unreal. That is a man that unquestionably gave his all to a passion. Moreover, I will forever love him for doing extra cardio so he could have his BBQ sauce.

He is true grit and determination.
