My family used to call it The Awful House. We could go in after a fresh cleaning, any time of day or night, and sliiiide across the greasy floor to our table. The floor was always coated in a combination of sand-like grit and old grease. It was awful because we kept coming back for the food, and it was the only place open at 2am. 😂
