The Orthodox Church precedes the Bible, so using it as the final authority, especially without appealing to Holy Tradition, is itself heretical from the Orthodox point of view. Sola Scriptura is a Protestant heresy. You are therefore misguided in your understanding of the Patriarch’s position, and are appealing to a heresy to describe someone else as a heretic.
