About Lucifer: Lucifer is an American urban fantasy television series developed by Tom Kapinos that premiered on Fox on January 25, 2016.[2][3] It is based on the DC Comics character created by Neil Gaiman, Sam Kieth, and Mike Dringenberg taken from the comic book series The Sandman, who later became the protagonist of a spin-off comic book series, both published by DC Comics' Vertigo imprint. The series is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer Television, DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Television. The series revolves around Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis), the Devil, who abandons Hell for Los Angeles where he runs his own nightclub and becomes a consultant to the LAPD.

The ensemble and supporting cast include Lauren German as Detective Chloe Decker, Kevin Alejandro as Detective Daniel "Dan" Espinoza, D. B. Woodside as Amenadiel, Lesley-Ann Brandt as Mazikeen, and Rachael Harris as Dr. Linda Martin. Filming took place primarily in Vancouver, British Columbia before production was relocated entirely to Los Angeles, California beginning with the third season. The first season received mixed reviews from critics, though subsequent seasons were better rated. The fourth season also received high ratings and critical acclaim. Many critics particularly praised Ellis' performance. Despite initially high viewership for its debut, ratings remained consistently low throughout the series' run on Fox. On May 11, 2018, Fox cancelled Lucifer after three seasons. A month later, Netflix picked up the series for a fourth season of ten episodes, which was released on May 8, 2019.

On June 6, 2019, Netflix renewed the series for the fifth and final season which will be 16 episodes. However, in March 2020, Tom Ellis and other stars of the show were reported to have signed up for a sixth season to be produced by Netflix and Warner Bros.[4] Official confirmation is yet to be received. It was later reported that production has stopped near to the end of Season 5 due to the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic and studio closures. I feel like people on the show are splitting hairs a bit regarding Lucifer never saying “I love you” to Chloe. I mean, at the end of S4 he said “Eve was never my first love. It was you, Chloe.” Now that, to me, is no bloody different to saying “I love you”. Seriously, it’s the same thing in different words. So all this “he hasn’t said it” is nonsense.

The idea that God wants Lucifer to be “happy” seems as good as confirmed, to me. In “Once Upon a Time”, God clearly said “After all, what parent wouldn’t want the best for their child” when talking about Lucifer and Chloe. Although I think it goes deeper than mere happiness – I think it’s about redeeming him through his new-found humanity. For the first time, because of Chloe, he’s feeling real emotions and acting selflessly. He’s becoming more than he could ever have been in hell.

It wouldn’t surprise me if Trixie knew he was the devil all along, lol. I can imagine someone trying to tell her, and Trixie saying “Well of course he is, Dummy.”

I think Lucifer does actually want to say “I love you, ” but the reason he hasn’t is bcs he’s scared to. After all, he is immortal while Chloe, well... is human. I think that when and if he finds a way to over come that he will say it.

The mug could just be a foreshadowing of the appearance of god.

It's not just the mug that is foreshadowing to me, it's also when Chloe shows off drunk at Lucifers penthouse the first time and even though they didn't sleep together Lucifer says "I am pretty sure we've made Rosemary's baby". Also after him and Chloe finally sleep together in season 5 she was able to mojo him, maybe that was a sign that she became pregnant. We also have the mug scene and when Lucifer takes Trixie to a school and she introduces herself as Trixie Morningstar.

I think we might even get to see Chloe have superpowers because of her pregnancy. We also have to remember that she is the only one that makes him vulnerable, so if he could bleed when around her he can also get her pregnant.
I really want more Deckerstar moments for season 5B.. we hardly get to see any of romantic moments with them. Lucifer has said over and over again how he doesn't like children. 😂😂😂 I am wondering how he'll handle the new's.

Beatrice is Trixie's actual name & Trixie is a nickname. The actress who plays her is Scarlett Estevez. At the 8:53 mark scene is where in show she tells him people call her Trixie & Lucifer says that's a hooker's name.

I have 2 theories
1. Chloe having lucifers mojo could be because she is pregnant and the baby has powers
2. The ring might make Chloe a celestial and then she and lucifer could have a child if it isn't already possible since who really knows with those two

I speculate that there is some celestial consequence to an angel using the words “I love you” addressed to a mortal. Perhaps doing so deprives the celestial of his or her powers and condemns him or her to being mortal.

Just throwing this out there.... In the scene, where Trixie is playing doctor with Lucifer and Maze, Trixie is treating Lucifer's wound and he said "Ouch!" as she taps on the wound. Nobody catches it at the time, but how did Trixie hurt him? We know Lucifer doesn't lie, so that did hurt him. We know Trix doesn't make him vulnerable, but the child can apparently hurt him.

Lucifer loves chloe, he is just scared to say it because he is not familiar with the concept of love. He was about to tell her but time stopped. Lucifer would not have gone through such great lengths to save her over and over again.

I think the ring could be used to give someone immortality since it holds liliths immortality in it and its also a stone from the garden of Eden

There was this guy some seasons ago who told Lucifer if he tells Chloe his feelings something very bad would happen. That could be the true reason why he does not tell her. And the ring... there's a soul in it or the immortal life of Mazes mother. Maybe Maze will steal it or Chloe will get the imortality later on.

I think the reason Lucifer won't say he loves Chloe is because when pierce/ Cain said he loved Chole he wasn't immortal so probably that's why Lucifer said saying he loved chloe is Complicated😃

The shining scene of the “twin” is the metaphor that Lucifer and Chloe are twin flames, same soul splits into two, that mirror and triggers each other. Twin flames are fated to meet at some point in their life journey. The two will be pulled together like magnets!

I think Lucifer loves Chloe, but I have 2 theories as to why we haven't heard him say it yet 1. Amenadiel stopped time before he could, and Lucifer was very agitated when time stopped and he was adamant he needed to get back to Chloe. 2.In the prophecy it said evil would be released on Earth when the Devil was with his first love and Lucifer has already admitted that was Chloe, so he could be reluctant to say he loves her because of the prophecy and he doesn't want it coming true and separating them again.
