A sterling collection containing 50 of Gary’s most memorable English-language songs, divided into 4 categories. Beginnings: songs that marked the start of his career; Inspiration: songs that proclaimed his Faith and Christian beliefs; Music For The Heart: his best love ballads, and Collaborations: memorable duets with his closest friends and family.

MUSIC FOR THE HEART covers the love ballads. Despite the image of being a dance music wonder, Gary had learned how to interpret and express romance so well. This list carries the original recordings of songs he’d popularized, written by him as well as by local and foreign composers. Among these were “Until Then,” which was later used in a beauty soap commercial, and “In Another Lifetime,” chosen to be the theme song for a local film. Also included were his own covers of previous foreign chart-toppers like “Just Once,” “Because of You,” “What Matters Most,” and “It Might Be You.” One of the biggest hit ballads was “How Did You Know,” originally recorded nearly a decade before it was considered to be the theme song for a local film. The lead actor was a good friend and insisted that Gary revive the song. He said yes, and both the film and the song went on to score huge successes.
