Показать описание
Program Description: A memory café is a social gathering place for persons with memory loss, mild cognitive impairment, early Alzheimer’s, or other dementia, as well as their family and friends. Library memory cafés meet once per month in a safe and comfortable space to offer fun and engaging programs, while providing social opportunities for those living with memory loss. Three years ago, four libraries in southeastern Wisconsin partnered to offer memory cafés to their aging community members. Today, this project has grown to include thirteen libraries in three counties. If your library is interested in providing this unique health outreach to your community, this webinar will provide you with the essential first steps to get started. Please register below.
