Tarja era Nightwish for me still is the pinnacle of symphonic metal which has never been reached since (Epica came close but its just not the same).
And I recently realized that ghost love score is my most favourite song of all time! It is literally beyond masterpiece status, perfect!

Sorry but the fact that Tarja moves, and hops, and dances and claps and her voice is immovable and at the same time so majestic and touching is only what talent can bring. She transfers you to this fantasy world that Tuomas meant to create when he was writing the song. People argue and people get replaced but some feelings are irreplaceable and no feud will change that.

20 years ago, I first listened to Tarja's voice in "Passion and the Opera". It was just one more mp3 some random person sent me through IRC. Nightwish became my favourite band then, and although I think Floor is AMAZING, for me Tarja will forever be Nightwish's voice.

It's been seventeen years since she left and I still feel the loss. Sometimes I listen to later Nightwish, but the music is also different. I am glad that Tarja has her solo carrier, I listen to her songs quite often now, I really love her voice and personality. It was my mistake from the beginning to expect the same epicness from her as from Nightwish. I missed a lot of her concerts in Czech Republic. I didn't even realize how much I loved her for most of my life until I heard her voice again. I was shocked at how much she has improved and how many different projects she is embarking on. Her voice cuts my soul to pieces. This has never happened to me with anyone else, neither Floor nor Anette, whom I appreciate as singers.
Tarja is my queen and favourite singer forever. Her era in Nightwish fundamentally defined my musical taste. And now Tarja just confirms it.
