The Pro-Stix Carbon Fiber Series Tripods are designed and built for the professional videographer or photographer looking for the toughest and most rugged tripod. The tripods are rated to support loads up to 125 lbs on the precision engineered aluminum truss apex. The apex features an interchangeable flat plate that can be removed and transitioned to various accessories such as our #TRB75 75mm Leveling Bowl insert. The 42 Series Truss Apex includes a safety lock button that won't allow the plate to prematurely fall out of the apex without depressing the release. The apex plate has a 3/8-16 standard mounting thread for Ball Heads, Video Heads, Gimbals, Sliders and much more.

The carbon fiber legs have 3 adjustable locking angle positions to accommodate any shooting situation, high to low. Each side of the apex features a 1/4-20 threaded adapter port to mount additional accessories. Each leg also incorporates a 1/4-20 female adapter as well. Lastly, each tripod foot has a hardened stainless-steel spike integrated inside the tube. The entire line-up of ProMediaGear Pro-Stix Carbon Fiber Tripods are precision CNC machined in our factory located in Tinley Park, IL USA.

Made in the USA by photographers for photographers! We pride ourselves in being experienced photography professionals and design gear we would use. There's nothing more important than our customers' satisfaction. So, What Are You Still Waiting For? Order Your Own Premium PMG Pro-Stix Carbon Fiber Tripod Today!

Ive had my 42L for over a year. Biggest regret is not getting it sooner. Everything about these tripods and company has been thought thru. Excellent gear. I use it with a D850 with large lenses can handle anything with a pro head attached. Tripod can hold a lot. I hesitantly and carefully raised it to full height and grabbed onto the apex and lifted my feet off the ground for about 5 seconds. I weigh 250lbs. I wouldn’t recommend it, but it’s a Beast of a Tripod.

I own the TR42 series, really sturdy tripod but one thing I really don't understand is why the "leveling" ball does not have a bubble level on it. I use the RRS BH55 and there's no level on the head so this leveling ball is useless. Hopefully I can buy the bowl adapter and then purchase a half bowl from another manufacturer that has a level affixed to their product.

Looks like a good quality tripod... It's just a shame that you don't have the easier quick release plate mechanism on the 34 series... Theres just no way I can get down with SIX Allen screws vs going to Gitzo and having a single tool-less knob to switch out the center column... But every second counts as you're rushing to setup for sunsets/sunrises when there's less than 2 minutes of ideal light... And I'd really love to support a local company, being that I've lived 10 minutes away from where you're based most of my life.

Do you ever plan to release center columns for the 42 series?

Wish you guys would come up with something that competes with the Gitzo GT4553. Folds short enough to stow in a carry on (sub 20 inches), but beefy enough for my long exposures.

Do they come with the secret Ninja knives that shoot out for defense against Bigfoot attacks?

everything is the best from top to bottom, the only thing ugly is the price.
