They should change the name from Bloomberg Balance of Power to Bloomberg Speculation. There were only two reported items worth mentioning. The first was former Attorney General Bill Barr: "This would have gone nowhere had the President just returned the documents." Secondly, DeSantis' twitter statement: "Why so zealous in pursuing Trump yet so passive about Hilary or Hunter?" Now this is classic whataboutism, which is an argumentative fallacy. But what he said next should score him some points with voters. DeSantis: "The DeSantis administration will bring accountability to the DOJ, excise political bias and end weaponization once and for all."
Oh, one other bit of reporting, BoP did show that one page of conversation with staffer that ended with Trump saying "Isn't this interesting?" That sounded more like "oops, I shouldn't have this." So rather than come clean, he tried to cover it up? Oh well, he is a politician. There needs to be more context. Trump delegated duties to others. The one legal expert mentioned witness testimony is crucial. If Trump told someone to send the documents back, and they didn't, well there goes your case.
This is all classic Trump playing victim - vote for me! A tactical move to keep himself on the front page, while the liberals pursue some namby pamby accusation. America is tired of this, Republicans would serve themselves well to find another candidate. Rick Davis, Stonecourt Capital: "Voters will say, we've got other options." Amen Rick! Always the voice of reason. This voter needs to find something else to do, since BoP and every other news show will devote 40minutes of each and every show in the future to Trump - I can ffd through the redundant speculation in 4 minutes, like I did tonight.
