Password hasses are stored within the RAM to be quickly acsessed. If this data was stored it could be brute forced or ran against a dictionary to potential get the password this may be why it is good to use volatile memory. But even then the hacker would have to be at your computer, so it makes little sense. Love ya vids man! Cramming the day before!

Hey, I am studying AQA GCSE Computer Science and my exam is in just over a months time. I don't really understand Computer Science very much and struggle a lot with it in class - just want to say that your videos simplify it for me and are a great aid to help with my revision. when you've got tabs open in chrome and your PC shuts down, upon restarting the computer, you are given an option to restore the tabs. does that mean that it is an example of non-volatile memory?

When you have a piece of work open in a word document and it closes without being saved it this saved on non volatile memory? thank you so much.
