How Far Do You Think The 49ers Go This Year? 🤔

Id like to add Dominic Puni to that rookie impact. The guards positions have been pretty bad for the 49ers recently and with injuries making that situation even worse right now, Puni could probably start at RG week 1. He looked pretty damn good in the first preseason game and will only get better with time.

Dude how did you not mention Puni as one of the more impactful rookies for this season? The right side of the line was ass last year and all reports from training camp point to him being an improvement and the starting RG week 1.

i’m gonna be honest, i think they just blew their last shot with this team. you don’t choke a super bowl like that (their second choke in 4 years) and come back the same. this is gonna be 2014 all over again. it’s over for them.

If there is one thing that should motivate the 49ers, beyond this recent legacy of falling just short, it's to get back to the end to deny a 3-peat. They barely missed out in the 1990 season then played spoiler on the Cowboys in the 1994 season. If the Chiefs managed to be the first to pull it off, it would be a wound that likely never heals.

Every team is a bad injury away from a crappy season. Do you think KC will win if Pat breaks his leg in week 3? Its up to chance and luck for every team. How often does a muffed punt bounce off a guys leg and a player literally hurts his Achilles from the sideline.

To me, Kyle Shanahan with the Niners is like Andy Reid with the Eagles. Does great during the regular season, multiple division titles, but never wins the big game.

The hiring of Brandon Staley makes me seriously question SF's future. Strange move for a man like John Lynch.

The 49ers should start getting the treatment of other teams like the Cowboys that can't win the biggest games

The Trent Richardson example is why I, as an Eagles fan, really appreciate Howie Roseman and Jeffrey Lurie.

If the Eagles were in this situation, Trent would've already been locked up or everyone would know that he's getting traded (to a team he wants to go to, ideally). Yeah it's still a business and you can't keep everyone, but Howie has generally speaking been very "intentional" with the roster. Guys get locked up early and rarely are there contract disputes that don't have a clear and obvious end from the very beginning.

And of course, all of this is only possible because Jeff Lurie is willing to shell out the bonus money and is willing to eat it if it doesn't work out.

Eagles can improve in the coaching department imo, but I wouldn't touch the front office.

49ers offense the past few years has been like a Ferrari. Run well when all the pieces are there....and they struggle more than you would think when one of McCaffrey, Samuel, or Aiuyck is out

If u look at the future cap of the 49ers and then keep in mind that Aiyuk Purdy and maybe Trent will get new contracts u can see a window closing at least a little bit

I think the Niners window could be longer. Lynch is such a good GM he’s proven he can make good moves to keep this team at the top. The biggest question is can Kyle finally make the step to being a SB winning coach?

As a 49ers fan, losing the Super Bowl is going to have a huge hangover on the team. However they are still built as a quality roster that has experience. Andy Reid was once a choker until he got to KC. Kyle needs to figure it out

Losing twice with Mahomes is guaranteed to end their chances. They already have internal pressure with Aiyuk and the contract situations with Williams, but that alone isn’t it with Shanahan just always taking certain risks. The window for a Lombardi Trophy has passed for them and I also believe they’ll miss the NFC to the Lions this time

Last chance? My god only one team can with the SB every year. The Bills lost 4 straight and history remembers them as great teams. When you talk about the Bills now you realize just how hard going to 4 straight super bowls is and NO ONE considers them as losers. SF has tremendous young pieces everywhere, they went to NFC championship and Super Bowl in the last 2 seasons with a QB who was 3rd string then off a surgery, stop panicking you’re fine. Reality is reality, SF is absolutely a top 3 team in the league but they are coming off the tail end of the best player ever Tom Brady era and hip deep in the era of who might end up being the goat Mahomes. Nothing is owed to the Niners, enjoy watching this great talented team. Don’t rush guys off or blow stuff up because you don’t win SB especially if they are close again. Nothing wrong with adding but work to keep it together, giving up is easy.
