Sims 3 was probably the best when it came to gameplay features and 4 for character creation, however I remember the Sims 2 Castaway for PS2 being my absolute favourite game. That was way ahead of its time!

It's crazy how little the number of sales for The Sims 2 actually was - I was convinced it had been at least the second best-selling The Sims game, going over like 25 million copies. Guess I was way off.

TS4 did it good because it's been ongoing for 8 years. TS 1 had 4 years and both TS2 and TS3 had 5 years.

I think what made Sims 4 sell a lot was the accessibility of the game from online platforms, Steam made it easier to purchase games. During the Sims 3 the formats were still physical with the disks and thumbdrives. I think the people who bought a Sims 4 as their first Sims game will be more impressed with the Sims 3 if they play it now. Seriously, it's like Sims 3 was released later than Sims 4 with the pattern tool and open worlds.

Sims 4 is doing the best because it's been out for a hundred years and has a billion packs (expansions, stuff packs, game packs, kits, and any other packs they decide to produce to milk consumers dry). Sims 4 has more packs than any other game in the series. And y'all complained about the Sims 3 store.

The only reason Sims 2 stopped selling is because they don’t want us to play the Sims 2 anymore. Literally, if you complain that your copy of the Sims 2 was lost when Origin turned to EA, they will say something along the lines of “we don’t support the Sims 2 anymore. The Sims 4.”

EA will kill the sims with greed.. to play the sims 4 in its entirety you have to pay over £1000!
