I think that if the sims 5 comes out a lot of players will still stick to sims 4. So many of us spent so much money on that game that we probably won’t be pleased to spend even more money on a new game that obviously won’t have that much content but still is going to cost a lot

I honestly hope the open world and more lots per world come back from 3 to 5. I miss the former so much.

As an addition, seasons should be a base game feature.

I've seen a lot of people be pretty pesimist about this project, like, they say that it looks bad, that it's just like Paralives, etc, and to be fair, I'm pretty excited for all of this. The customization being similar to the type of customization that we had in the sims 3 + even more things than before (like being able to fully customize beds, sofas and more) is what makes me be particularly excited about this project, but also the fact that, if we can customize at that level, imagine how CAS and gameplay will be in general, I mean, they still gotta add a lot more things, so Im really excited about this

Okay but the preview of how the build mode might look are things that people want, like the way you might be able to customise parts of the furniture, amazing! I'm excited to see what it becomes!

I feel like its time for sims to include seasons and apartmans (we kinda saw that they plan them from those clip they show us) in the base game...maybe even pets (cats and dogs but also little animals) bc for the game that is life and build simulator its importent to have every day things such weather or apartmans from the get go and not wait and pay for them on there own. Also hopeing that we will finally get more lifestages (one betwean todler and child and pre-teens mainly)

my guess is that they’ll go down the “DS download play” route for multiplayer: the host player’s packs will be what applies to the save file, and whatever packs the joining players have won’t affect that save file. this way, joining players can use the host’s packs but only in that save file linked to the host (like how people could download a mini version of mario kart DS when races were hosted by someone with the game). it would also act as advertisement of the other packs to joining players who don’t have the packs the host has, driving up sales 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m so excited! I don’t know how I feel about the look of the game in the trailer, or it being in mobile, but I am really looking forward to a new sims game. I’d say the baby update is what I’m the most excited about at the moment!

Honestly out of all of my own personal thoughts, speculation etc. about potential Sims 5 features - the "subscription based" model would honestly be my worst nightmare & might even put me off of playing the game if I'm honest. I'm not the biggest fan of the idea of "mobile compatibility" at all, & I'm kinda iffy about multiplayer as well (I'd personally probably just turn it off when it's optional) but the "subscription" idea is a really big worry for me personally too, like we're talking worst-case-scenario & actual-nightmare-fuel fear tbh.

I honestly prefer playing alone. I don’t think I would enjoy playing the sims with someone else

Ok I just need to say this. Now that we know the sims team is down for more life stages we absolutely need preteens.

Like why does my kid go from being afraid of the monster under the bed to looking like a high school senior on steroids

what it feels like is that paralives and other build sims started gaining traction and, as good competition does, it forced the sims team to add more of those options that everyone wants. i cant wait! im (genuinely) eager to see the jank that comes with it lmao

You should do a video/powerpoint on what you want in the sims 5 and/or maybe make a poll for all of us to submit what we want in the sims 5 and upload that!!

Honestly that build mode teaser scares me because it seems really in depth (which isn't necessary a bad thing) but as someone who is awful at Sims builds it may not be as beginner friendly as the Sims 4 is for me.. idk it's just a bit intimidating. Im also very concerned at the idea of a mobile Sims 5 as it might limit the content they can put in packs and the quality of the content in the base game.
