The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 is Samsung’s latest small folding phone for 2022. The Z Flip 4 offers over 15 changes and updates with both hardware and software. The ZFlip 4 starts at $999 in the US and comes in some new colors. The Flip 4 keeps its 6.7” AMOLED display and smaller 1.9” Cover Display, but has updated specs with the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 and larger Battery. The cameras are upgraded for better low light and the software has more features running on Android 12 with OneUI 4.1.1.

I pre-ordered mine and received it about two days ago. I've been very happy with it so far and I love the portability. I am trading in my Galaxy A71 5G and the only downside I can see is the battery life compared to a full non-folding phone, but I already knew that would be the case. The crease is slightly noticeable but mainly when looking at the screen off axis or when the display is off. When the display is on, you don't really notice it at all.

The galaxy z flip 4 has some very mix feelings in my heart. it sounds amaizing with the idea but im not sure how i will actually use it in daily use,
im a bit of a gamer so battery does matter to me. im not sure how watching movies, videos and shorts is gonna work if the phone is very tall and slim. im probobly gonna wait a couple of years or maybe the next year will change my mind but i would stay with my iphone 14 pro max (which by the way, i would not buy it if your already an iphone user because like almost no differences. really dissapointed me).

Why would you want to fold it and lose half the screen to browse the web with a mouse cursor when you have fingers to press links in a webpage? So weird.

The pocket ability is fantastic. The form factor is the #1 advantage. I was not disappointed by the performance but the battery life was a problem for daily driver for the Z Flip 3.

I have been using my Z Flip 4 since August 23rd. Snappy performance and good battery life. I have been using rhe S22 Ultra and compared to the Z Flip 4 the Ultra is quite power hungry. The display on the Ultra is much better / brighter and can easily be viewed in bright sunshine. I will put the Z Flip 4 through its paces ro see if it is a good alternative for a daily driver. So far my opinion is rather this is a premium build. I do not understand why Samsung did not go ahead and boost rhe RAM to 12 GBs for the 512 version. Rhe extra RAM would make this phone very hard to beat.
