I used to listen to a couple of channels where someone reads stories. I have stopped listening to those because while the folks did a good job reading the stories, the stories themselves were not very good.

I know YouTube comments are a stupid place to vent, but I needed this SO badly... Lost my grandmother on Friday and this whole week has been a blur of trying to be there for my Dad, making sure everyone has clothes appropriate for Catholic Mass (we're not Catholic), trying to get my chronic pain under control for 4 hours in the car to DRIVE to the funeral, getting my service dog groomed... I'm just... I'm so done. I'm drained and overwhelmed. I go for true crime and horror fiction type stuff when my anxiety gets too bad because for some reason it helps, so having it read in a calming voice while I try to settle and sleep is a blessing. I'm sure you won't see this, but I hope you know how much folks like me appreciate the work you do. ♥️
