lately with ev that doesn't make any sound, it is much safer to have mirror to check traffic situation behind

We’re I live there is no bike boxes. I interact with the main roads when returning from the library or coming home from a bike trail session. I always practice safety. Good video. I like the safety tips you provided. Thank you.

Best bike safety video I’ve been able to find!

I'm a very experienced urban cyclist, that "point" is completely useless. I always shoulder check, then signal with my arm straight out to the left only when it's safe to change lanes. Pointing vaguely in front of you doesn't tell drivers anything, as you can see in the video where you almost get hit because the driver behind you didn't know what you were doing.

Cheers for this video, mate. Just started commuting by bike and this helped.

it's terrifying biking in american cities, cars are dangerously and intentionally oblivious of bicycle, roads are awfully bad designed (only for cars) and speed limit is so high and not respected. just terrifying. btw those boxes are nice but having a separated bike lane is desperately needed

It's not a bike lane if cars can occupy it

Pity this video cannot be downloaded and watched offline.

If Someone road a bicycle like you are coaching them, they’d get hit by a car very soon! 😮

So the first two things you show are yourself almost getting hit (your own effing fault) and then your show infrastructure that is highly irregular and rare. This is a terrible video. there are astonishingly few good cycling safety videos for the north american public (right side riding). this isn't one of them.
