Part of this is also the players fault. Mihoyo will use the most popular characters for stories and stuff because majority of people will want to see said popular character. Where the not so popular characters usally get forgotten. And this issue is not Genshin pacific it happens to alot of games and shows alike. A character will appear for episode and never be seen again.

Meanwhile we've kind of trapped ourselves in the story so that Natlan charactes probably won't be appearing in events outside of Natlan. Unless we somehow manage to purge the entire Abyss in 5.3.

I think one in-game reason is, that the Exoress-Crew is canonically coming back to the places the've been to before. Whereas the Traveler and Paimon are constantly journeying on. ❤

I mean, it kinda depends on the character. We can't go two versions without Argenti or Sushang, but the Belobog ones make it into events every blue moon, unless they're Sampo. When was the last time we saw Seele or Pela? And it had been a long time since we saw Luka and Natasha until very recently.

As someone who only started a few months ago, I’d love to experience the old events. Mainly for their story purposes, but I’ve seen the amount of items you can only get from limited time events. I feel like they should have genshin not make everything so exclusive and missable

HSR was lucky to be a newer project.. I guess they realized their mistakes / got inspiration from Genshin on what important features are to add and went that way.

They should be adding those features in Genshin in the far future too.. I hope. (Copium)

HSR just connects to the characters a lot more I've noticed
Genshin really only puts the characters in the story during archon, character, and event stories. And all other times they're just... Gone
HSR characters will just show up randomly for side quests and some are just normal stationary NPCs
I think it makes the world and the characters feel a lot more connected, alongside making the world of genshin feel a bit uncanny when I noticed the lack of this

I think its because genshin came first. HSR is new. They learned, but won't include what they've learned in HSR in genshin
