That wasn't a Tesla bot. It was a dude in a Teslabot skin.

The Thunderbirds Mole finally becomes reality in Prufrock. 😊

But how do I go completely dark with my Tesla? No signals of any kind coming in or out... ever. That's what I want. It would mean total privacy. Do I just find the antenna and unplug the wire?

I've said it before, I'll say again, and I will be right: Boring Co equipment + SpaceX + Tesla Bots = prebuilt human bases before we get to Mars. We just gotta practice with the moon first.

Curious to know what it will actually be drilling through. The land Giga Texas is built upon is soft, sandy, silty river wash type soil. The area around it is littered with water filled gravel and sand pits. Now it may be that the sandy soil is not very deep and there is some firm soil or even rock there. However, that area is what we call "off the escarpment" in that it is below the rocky Balcones Escarpment geology. I could be wrong, but there may not be any rock there for Prufrock to drill through. If that is the case, why bother using it at all? Plus if it's only going to be 15 feet below the road, that seems like not enough to avoid undermining the road or destabilizing the roadbed.

What I want to know:
1. Can you drive a Semi through it? or..
2. even just a standard Shipping Container in a different vehichle?
3. Will it work as an underground aquaduct? ...the idea of moving storm overflow water to dryer climes is interesting...or even refill the Aral sea etc

I graduated from the fluid power program in 1990 and had a chance to go to work for the Robbins Corp. They built those tunnel boring machines.

Wait a a minute, what am I missing? 2:56 they're going to dig out 25 miles of tunnels, and when added to the existing convention center loop will make a 65 mile long project? So the convention center loop is 40 miles long? That doesn't seem right.

Going to have to agree with another poster on this video:

If you're going to purport to be a news channel you shouldn't spread things that are demonstrably false. AKA the Reuters article. Also, I understand it's an attempt at humor by saying that the light show was attended by a Tesla bot, but not everyone is going to get that it was really a human in a Tesla bot suit. This is misinformation whether intentional or otherwise.

It's all rather unfortunate because I tend to enjoy your delivery style. But knowing that I'm going to have to fact check your work or check the comments for viewer-submitted claims of misinformation I'll just go elsewhere.

$40 - $250... seems pretty expensive to park your car and have the lights switch on & off for a Tesla promo! 😀

So, basically, we will have "robotaxis" going through short tunnels at low speeds. This will be the real-world "Hyperloop".

All this..and yet, Austin Tesla employees have been let go..some apparently with no prior notice. The plant has basically been running for two years and now they are implementing "cost cutting" measures.

Basically, if the recent news is any sort of indication, I wouldn't count on some of the projects mentioned in this video ever seeing the light of day.

Is the hyperloop no longer a thing / high speed transit done by the boring company? When they unveiled the Las Vegas tunnels I think it was paid drivers driving people in regular Tesla vehicles through the tunnels - a bit underwhelming

They need a tunnel from the parking garage as well

One million miles of data on self drive has been collected. Compute no longer restrained. Free FSD for a month on 5 million vehicles. Dad’s driving experience will quadruple what it has done in 8 years in a single month.
Version 13 will be drastically ahead of the incredible version 12.

My music-producer friend at work is thinking about buying a Tesla and I haven't even told him yet that he can mix his own custom music, with one of the best sound systems on the market, and create a custom light-show to match it, all from his car. This is gonna be the easiest sale ever 😏
