The second one was going fine until his voice cracked and gave out on him, I feel bad for the guy, that's something you can't control. Both Christina Aguilera and Fergie tried way too hard to show off their range and vocal skills and completely mutilated their performances.

I performed the national anthem 3 times in middle school and several times freshman and sophomore year, all for marching band (junior marching season was sacrificed to coronavirus). We were always told the same thing: Nobody came here to listen to you play the SSB. That’s what concerts are for. They’re here to see our team lose a game of football, eat some food, and go home. So you stand there and get the job done quickly with good tone, and play your hearts out in the stands and halftime. Now get out there! It’s your time to shine at not overplaying the anthem!
