How To Use Track Mattes in After Effects CC 2023:
1. Open Composition with multiple layers including a Shape Layer & Texture Layer (still or animated)
2. Select Texture Layer
3. Go to Track Matte Column (right-click and select ‘Modes’ if Track Matte column is not visible)
4. Click on drop-down and select the Shape Layer
5. Toggle on visibility of Shape Layer
6. Change Blend Mode of Shape Layer to ‘Add’
