Extract Frame from Videos using OpenCV in Python | Extracting and Saving Frames in Python

In this video, we are going to build a simple python program that will help us to extract frames from a video or a set of videos. We will use the cv.VideoCapture function to capture the video and then we are going to extract a frame from the video. After some processing on it, we will save the frame in a proper folder. So, at last, when the program is complete, we would have a lot of frames saved in our folder.

Hello, I am trying your code with some other dataset, but it is not working. To be specific, I am trying with DAISEE dataset. for a trial, I am just choosing only 5% of the original dataset to run your code. But no luck.

What if I Want to generate frames for only few particular time interval like for example I want to generate frames for a video for time interval between 18 sec to 20 sec and then 25 sec to 30 sec and I want to skip rest of the time frame

Well we tried our best to improvise on your sluggish algorithm, after 12401821 iterations we could really get our problem solved but came to know that we have reached to a totally different algorithm. Get your shit fixed.
