I like how I spend my time watching other people do there projects while mine are sitting in the back yard unfinished

Finally. A YouTuber smart enough to know oil undercoating is the only method worth a damn.

You’ve done it again, a masterpiece of a video! Can’t wait to see 2nd part of the trailer build

This is seriously inspirational as a GMT800 owner. I've got a rusty old '05 Escalade EXT as my beater truck and it has done everything I needed it to and more even while being in very rough shape from the previous owner. 6 years of tough conditions (4 of them in Buffalo, NY winters) and I would love to give it this treatment someday - she's earned it

Hand fabricating instead of buying a frame a lost art. Thumbs up for sure.

The attention to detail you have is a quality point in your videos that others leave out. I found you while looking for a flatbed design and then went nuts with all of your content because it parallels my career field.
You are not only entertaining but you’ve crossed into a level of instruction that I wish some others would.
Waldo is bringing back shop class one video at a time!

I can't tell you how happy I was when you said some stick welding was in order!

This is cool man. I work for Magna and I and weld build all of GMs light and heavy duty frames models. This is sweet to see how the models have drastically changed over the years but more over the failing points for rust build up. Super cool man thanks for sharing

Shows what a man with time and patience, can do with a welder and a plan. Great job, again.

You have the best automotive videos on the internet - not to mention wonderful truck, fabricating & communication skills. I rarely comment, however this has given me new motivation to continue restoring my ‘96 stick shift 12 valve. Good job, Waldo.

I bought a 06 and this video definitely made me feel a bit more confident about jumping into this project

20:05 that’s where the needle scaler comes in handy. It takes all the slag off quick and easy.

I probably said it before but who cares LOL, those GMT800 crew cabs short beds in 2500HD version are one of the most "handsome" designs GM ever did. Especially 01-02 Chevys 2500HD and 03-07 GMCs.
Can't wait for the next episode.

The finesse of pulling the bed off the frame with the tractor bucket was awe inspiring. Wish I thought of that when doing the fuel pump on my Sierra.

I keep one of those magnetic key boxes on my truck and beater car. They’ve saved the day more than once. Looking forward to your next installment in the D-Max saga.
