Can you please explain if taking the same story with the same subject matter, a film is made based on Western Society depicting Western Culture, what differences that film will have compared to this film?

I hope you watch Titli by Rituparno Ghosh. When you're talking about the relationship triangle and the dynamics between the mother and daughter and embracing the womanhood, it was the 1st movie tat came into my mind.
